Spruce

Spruce wood is light, soft and easy to work with. It has a light, yellowish-white colour and a uniform structure. It is ideal for house construction, interior fittings and paper production.

Fir

Fir wood is resin-free, light and dimensionally stable with a light-coloured, even structure. It is particularly suitable for interior fittings and is often used for facades, panelling, furniture and panels. Fir is also popular in hydraulic engineering because fir is more durable under water than classic spruce.

White pine

White pine, also known as Scots pine, produces a slightly reddish-yellow wood with a distinctive grain. It is resinous, moderately hard and easy to work with - ideal for furniture, doors, panelling and construction timber.

Black pine

Black pine wood is firmer and darker in colour than white pine. It is resinous, robust and particularly weather-resistant, making it ideal for outdoor construction, fences and structures. Black pine wood is particularly famous for use as stage flooring; the wood is lighter than hardwood and yet harder than the classic softwood varieties.

Larch

Larch wood is particularly weather-resistant and one of the hardest softwoods in Europe. With its warm, reddish-golden colour and distinctive annual rings, it is popular for façade construction, windows, terraces and high-quality furniture.

Swiss stone pine

Swiss stone pine wood is soft, light and has a characteristic, pleasant fragrance. It has a light colour with reddish knots and has an antibacterial effect - ideal for bedroom furniture, wall panelling and interiors with a soothing atmosphere.
